Fusion of tradition and fashion
Hi there!
Hope you are doing great. Well, I'm back after a very long time. Due to some issues I closed my Instagram account. After lot of hurdles I got to do this. Thanks to everyone who stood by me from the very beginning:')
So this post totally reflects my personal style, yeah! this is how I usually design and style clothes. Comfort being the main factor, I brought this bright pink cotton material with ikat pattern on it from one of the local stores. characteristic of ikat textiles is an apparent "blurriness" to the design. Ikat is probably one of the oldest forms of textile decoration
*Why always Kurtis?* is how I felt. So I got it stitched as a ankle length gown. Tradition has got fashion touch. Paired it up white kolhapuri sandals and a yellow sling bag. I totally love how it turned. It is super comfortable, stylish and has got traditional bling as well.
